This week, Rocky Mountain Prep celebrated the Class of 2026 at Senior Signing Day, and the National Western Center LV Arena was full of joy. More than 4,000 students, families, educators, supporters, and community members came together to cheer on our seniors as they stepped onto the stage and claimed what comes next.
And there was a lot to celebrate!
For the third year in a row, 100% of RMP seniors were accepted to college. Even bigger, every senior received an acceptance to a college with positive ROI, meaning students were accepted into programs that can lead to strong outcomes for them and their families.
This year, 248 seniors from Rocky Mountain Prep SMART and Rocky Mountain Prep RISE stood in front of that crowd and announced their next step with pride. Some are heading to colleges and universities like Northwestern University, CU Boulder, and Washington University in St. Louis. Others are choosing military service or stepping straight into their careers. Every path was honored. Every senior had a moment. And the room showed up for all of it!
You could feel the energy from the very beginning. The celebration featured a performance from the two-time state champion Rocky Mountain Prep RISE Speech & Debate Team, a performance from the Regis Groff Cheer Team, and a guitar and vocal solo of “Andamos Mejor” by Los Gemelos de Sinaloa. The supporter tribute and rose ceremony brought even more heart to the day and gave seniors and families a moment to remember forever.
What stayed with us most was the pride in the room. Families cheering from the stands. Little siblings watching closely. Younger students seeing what’s possible in real time. Seniors standing tall, owning their choices, and feeling a whole community behind them.
That is the power of Senior Signing Day at Rocky Mountain Prep. Our students do not cross this stage quietly. They are celebrated out loud. Their hard work is seen. Their futures are named with confidence and joy. Younger scholars get to say, “That will be me one day.” Families get to witness a moment that says, clearly and publicly, your child’s future matters here.
To the Class of 2026, congratulations! We are so proud of you! You worked hard for this moment, and it showed. Thank you for letting all of us celebrate with you. We cannot wait to see where you go next!
