Our Academic Approach
RISE is a small, traditional high school with big opportunities. Students have access to an expanding menu of Pre-AP and AP courses in core subjects and electives, all designed to prepare them for college and beyond. Teachers know every student by name, story, and dream—and use that knowledge to deliver personalized, rigorous instruction. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, or on stage, RISE helps students turn potential into purpose.

PrincipalI’m thrilled to begin my 8th year as a school leader and my 16th year in education. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege to serve in various roles, from paraprofessional to Principal, across both traditional and alternative settings. My passion lies in building meaningful connections with students, families, and staff to ensure an exceptional educational and human experience for all. It’s an honor to return to my home state and be part of this dynamic community. I look forward to working together to make a lasting impact.

We are a member of the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA). Our athletic program name is Regis Groff Fusion (a co-op of Rocky Mountain Prep RISE and KIPP: Northwest Denver Leadership Academy).
