RMP Ruby Hill

Born and raised in the Denver area, Lora has been a member of the Ruby Hill staff for the last ten years, teaching second grade and fourth grade and more recently serving as Assistant Principal for three years. Lora comes from a family of educators. Her mother has been a principal for almost 30 years, her fathers works in schools as a 1:1 support, and her brother teaches students with disabilities. Throughout her tenure at Ruby Hill, Lora has maintained a record of strong academic results, high staff satisfaction and exemplary relationships with students and families. Lora exemplifies Rocky Mountain Prep’s PEAK Values. She has been a model of perseverance for staff and students alike, never giving up or lowering the bar even during the most challenging times. Her sights are consistently set on excellence, with high expectations for herself, her colleagues and her students. Further, Lora believes strongly that the purpose of a great school is to support students in achieving their goals, and particularly in setting them up to achieve academically throughout their educational journeys. In all things, Lora leads with kindness, always standing up for what is right and inspiring others to do the same.
