Students live out PEAK values through daily Dojo Points and weekly recognition. Each class celebrates a “PEAK Purple” student who models excellence, kindness, perseverance, and adventure. These values are woven into both instruction and community celebrations, creating a culture where growth is noticed, affirmed, and lifted up school-wide.
Our Academic Approach
At RMP Southwest, reading is the top priority. Every student receives small-group instruction tailored to their level, using a research-backed curriculum and daily reading blocks. The Accelerated Reader program encourages a love of books, with students working toward “millionaire” status by reading one million words. The goal is clear: every child reading on or above grade level—and believing in their power as a learner.

Jordan Simpson
PrincipalI moved from Memphis to Denver after falling in love with Rocky Mountain Prep’s philosophy of rigor and love. I served as an assistant principal at RMP Creekside for five years before becoming the principal at RMP Southwest in 2024. I love my role because I get to work closely with families, educators, and students to support our entire campus community, and I am so proud to call Southwest my home.
