PEAK Values in Action:

PEAK values are recognized in real time and celebrated daily. Students earn PEAK “dollars” for living out Perseverance, Excellence, Adventure, and Kindness – and can use them in the school store. These values are visible in classrooms, called out in celebrations, and reinforced through staff modeling. At Westwood, PEAK is both a practice and a payoff.

Our Academic Approach

At Westwood, every day starts with purpose. Students begin in advisory to set goals, receive support, and be celebrated by adults who know them well. Strong relationships and consistent routines create a foundation for rigorous instruction. Core classes are paired with real-time recognition systems and pathways to advanced coursework through the SMART high school campus. Westwood students are seen, pushed, and celebrated—for effort, growth, and achievement.

Principal

With 12 years of experience in education, I am deeply committed to ensuring that every child succeeds and gets the opportunity to choose where they would like to go for college. My passion for education is matched only by my dedication to my family, including my husband and one-year-old son. I am proud to call Colorado home, where I enjoy exploring the state’s natural beauty. I am passionate about snowboarding in the winter and hiking, camping, and paddleboarding in the summer. I look forward to partnering with our families and community to create the best possible experience for our students.
